Mondays at 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
Virtual Class on Zoom Beginning September 28

Course Description:
These 5 classes will examine the Supreme Court's recent actions in areas of political significance focusing on important cases that had been argued, but not decided at the end of the Spring semester. Examples include two cases before the Court about the President's ability to fire members of multi-member independent federal agencies despite federal laws that limit that ability. Others include cases about transgender rights and a challenge to Trump's executive order that limited birthright citizenship. If important cases are added to the docket for the 2026-27 Supreme Court Term those will be discussed as well.
